Man Utd News: Van Gaal’s transfer targets revealed, free keeper exit, shock Chelsea swoop

The Old Trafford chief hinted this week that he wants a new winger to add more pace to his squad.

Van Gaal is keen on Leicester’s in-form star Riyad Mahrez and Sadio Mane at Southampton.

And the Dutchman is also interested in Lazio's Felipe Anderson and Anwar El Ghazi of Ajax.

Victor Valdes is reportedly closing in on a free transfer to Newcastle.

The veteran Barcelona goalkeeper has seen any United career disappear after being snubbed by Van Gaal.
Newcastle are in need of a new stopper following Tim Krul’s season-ending injury.

They have already held talks over a deal for Valdes and that is nearing its completion, say Sportmediaset.

Valdes could finally be set to leave United

Chelsea could make a shock January move for former Man United striker Javier Hernandez.
The 27-year-old moved to Bayern Leverkusen in the summer after seeing his spell at Old Trafford fizzle out.
Premier League champions Chelsea are eyeing a surprise move for the Mexican in the New Year.

The Blues are in desperate need of a boost in attack following the inconsistent form of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao.

Chelsea have been linked with Hernandez
